Evening on the Green

Thank you to all who supported our new signature annual event: "Evening on the Green." 

Held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 - the evening offered a one-of-a-kind special experience including full-service and hosted dinner, drinks, and incredible live entertainment. All of the evening’s events  took place in a beautiful outdoor venue which was transformed specially for our event.

This year's musical guest to help us kick-off our inaugural celebration was 10-time Grammy Award Winner - Arturo Sandoval. Mr. Sandoval and his band came to El Centro, CA for our event in the middle of their current World Tour in between performances in Russia, Poland, Indonesia, and the Dominican Republic.

The day after EOTG, Mr. Sandoval gave a Master Music Class to a couple hundred local high school students coordinated by the IV Community Foundation and Mrs. Renee Baker (CUHS Band Director). Support for the Master Music Class was provided by IVCF, the Imperial Valley Music Educators Association, and the El Centro Education Foundation.

Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and volunteers who helped make this event a success. Proceeds support IVCF's mission and help Imperial Valley Community Foundation to improve the quality of life and the preservation of charitable assets benefiting the Imperial Valley and its residents in perpetuity.
