California Mid-Winter Fair Heritage Foundation - $3,000

The grant will assist the CAMWF Heritage Foundation and the California Mid-Winter Fair in upgrading the kitchen facilities of the Hulsienda building at the fairgrounds in order to fully assist with the CAMWF’s role as an Emergency Command Center to support emergency response teams, and to provide the fairgrounds with improved facilities which may enhance the fair’s rental revenue and long-term sustainability.

Ocotillo Wind Imperial Valley Fund

Cancer Resource Center of the Desert - $5,000

CRCD's project that augments Patient Navigation services through a clothing line called CRCD Survivorwear. 

El Centro Police Activities League (PAL) - $3,000

To assist youth in increasing their academic achievements by implementing a tutoring program at the El Centro PAL computer lab and homework room.

Ocotillo Wind Education Fund

Boys & Girls Clubs of Imperial Valley - $6,000

To implement Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Summer Brain Gain: Read! Program. A 12-week literacy program.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Imperial County - $10,000

To implement and expand the CASA Educational Mentor Program to improve the life and educational outcomes of foster children of Imperial County.

National Philanthropy Day

Join us for Imperial Valley's 12th annual National Philanthropy Day awards celebration on Friday, November 15, 2024.

IV Nonprofit Board Leadership Series

The Imperial Valley Nonprofit Board Leadership Series is a project coordinated in partnership by the Imperial Valley Community Foundation and Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties.

The 4-part workshop series will include sessions that build upon one another to provide an overview of nonprofit types & structures, governance, financials & funding, responsibilities, management, and resources to help new and existing nonprofits and board members to be successful.

All sessions will be held from 5:30pm - 7:00pm on:

The workshop series will take place in the College Center at Imperial Valley College.
