Giving Through Your Estate

Giving through your estate is a convenient way to continue your charitable giving and life's work, and secure your legacy through a legacy fund.

Many people want to leave a portion of their estate to support certain charitable causes, to support one or more charitable organizations or to create a scholarship for promising young students, but they want to ensure their wishes are honored and fulfilled. At the Imperial Valley Community Foundation, our business is to receive, administer and provide ongoing stewardship of estate gifts for charitable purposes. We ensure our donors’ intentions are honored and fulfilled, forever!

Gifts from your estate may be made to the Imperial Valley Community Foundation via a gift by will or living trust, charitable trust, pooled income, life insurance policy or qualified retirement plan. Once you have left an estate gift to the Imperial Valley Community Foundation, we will welcome you into the Legacy Society. By choosing the Imperial Valley Community Foundation to provide stewardship of your estate, you join other Legacy Society members in improving the quality of life in the Imperial Valley.
