    Bobby Brock has served as President & CEO of the Imperial Valley Community Foundation since March of 2008. Brock was formerly a member of the IVCF Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and also served as its Secretary. During his tenure with the Foundation, Brock has worked side-by-side with IVCF’s volunteer community leadership to establish more than thirty charitable funds benefiting the residents, quality of life and future of Imperial Valley. Brock’s responsibilities include asset development and management, design of corporate giving and mitigation programs, mission-matching for donors and nonprofit organizations and causes, convening meetings on important community issues, and overseeing IVCF’s ongoing activities and new collaborations with regional partners and key stakeholders. In addition to the Foundation's development and grantmaking programs, Brock provides leadership and coordinates IVCF's annual special events including the Foundation's golf tournament, Imperial Valley's National Philanthropy Day celebration, and IVCF's "Merry-Achi Christmas Concert" featuring Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez.

    Prior to his employment with the Foundation, Brock was a District Executive for the San Diego – Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Financial Representative for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, and Performer/Instructor for the National Comedy Theatre.
     
    A strong advocate for civic engagement and community service, Brock currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross (San Diego & Imperial Counties Chapter) and the San Diego - Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a Past President of the El Centro Rotary Club, Past Board President of Ballilngton Academy for the Arts & Sciences, Past Exalted Ruler of the Brawley Elks Lodge, and the Founder and Past Chairman of the Imperial Valley Young Professionals Organization – a former program of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce, and Past Chairman of SCORE's Imperial Valley branch of the San Diego chapter. Additional prior board service includes the Brawley Elks Lodge, Calexico Pop Warner Association, Centinela State Prison Citizen’s Advisory Committee, El Centro Chamber of Commerce, El Centro Rotary Club, El Centro Rotary Club Foundation, Imperial County Office of Education P-16 Council, Imperial County Tobacco Coalition, Imperial Valley Disaster Recovery Team, Literacy Volunteers of America, and various leadership roles within the Boy Scouts of America. 
     
    Mr. Brock earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. He resides in El Centro with his wife and four children.
