Immediate Past Chairman
Aaron Popejoy is a native of the Imperial Valley. His family's presence in El Centro spans five generations and represents over a century of businessmen and women in Imperial County. Aaron attended Central Union High School and Imperial Valley College before receiving his Bachelor of Arts & Sciences Degree in design from San Diego State University. Upon graduation he returned to El Centro to continue practicing the profession he had begun years earlier. Aaron is the founder and creative director of Conveyor Group, a strategic brand communications and custom website development firm established in 1997. With over 20 years of industry experience, Aaron has accomplished award-winning work for clients large and small. As a dedicated community advocate, Aaron has served as president of the El Centro Rotary Club and the El Centro Chamber of Commerce as well as chairman of the Imperial Valley Joint Chambers of Commerce. He currently serves as a board member for the Imperial Valley Arts in Motion Council (IVAIM), and as a committee member and advisor for numerous local organizations and educational programs. In January of 2012, Aaron was recognized by the Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation (IVEDC) with their Leader of the Year award. Aaron currently resides in El Centro with is wife and their three sons. Together they are slowly restoring a mid-century modern home and are collecting period-correct furnishings and decor to showcase their passion for art and architecture. Above all, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family.

Paul Cameron, Past Chairman
Past Chairman
Paul Cameron graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1976, and received a BS in Agriculture from Cal Poly in 1981. He was a Farm Manager for Dan Cameron Livestock from 1981 to 1994. Since 1996, he has been the owner of Paul Cameron Ranches, and the President and GM of Mesquite Cattle Feeders.
Paul Cameron is the Past Chairman of the Coalition of Ag, Labor and Business, and currently serves as a member of the Brawley High School FFA Advisory Board and on the board of directors of the Imperial County Farm Bureau. He is also Past Chairman of the California Cattlemen’s Association Feeder Council.
Paul Cameron’s other favored activities include mountain biking, hunting in Mexico, and travelling with his wife, Debbie Cameron. -
Cliff Caldwell
Cliff Caldwell graduated from Calexico Union High School in 1964, University of California at San Diego in 1969 with a degree in Economics, and University of California at Los Angeles Law School in 1972. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1973, and has practiced in United States Tax Court, United States Court of Claims, California Supreme Court, and United States Supreme Court. He has been involved in areas of business and corporate law, estate planning and tax law in Imperial County since 1973. In earlier years, he taught about wills, trusts, and probate at Imperial Valley College. He has been practicing law in Imperial County for 39 years.
He is a Past President of several organizations, including the Imperial County Bar Association, El Centro Rotary, and the El Centro Chamber of Commerce. He has also been a board member of the Boy Scouts of America, Desert Trails Council, and ARC of Imperial Valley. He is currently a board member of the Imperial Valley Community Foundation and of D.A.V. Industries, serving Disabled American Veterans & Families in San Diego.
His preferred hobby is golf, and he has participated in the Cotton Golf Tournament in Mexicali for more than 40 years. -

Robert Rubio
Robert Rubio is a Board Member and Secretary of the Imperial County Workforce Development Board as well as a new board member of the Imperial Valley College Foundation. He is also Current Member of the School site council for Calexico High School.He is a current board Member and Past Chairman of the Imperial Valley Joint Chambers of Commerce as well as Board Member and Past Chairman to the Calexico Chamber of Commerce. His community involvement includes being a member and two times Past President of the Calexico Elks and past District Chairman of Elks California-Hawaii Elks Organization.Additionally, he is a Past Committee member for the San Diego State University 50th Anniversary, and past President for the Calexico PAL organization.He is the Co-Owner and Printing Consultant for Imperial Printers, a company that has been in the Imperial Valley for over 110 years. He has been in the Printing industry for over 27 years. Despite a busy schedule, he is still able to find time to enjoy playing Tennis and golf.His education includes Hartnell College in Salinas, CA, Irvine College in Irvine, CA, and IVC in Imperial, CA.He is software certified in: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express and Page Maker. -
